My designs span many industries: process control, SCADA, avionics, enterprise web applications, nanotechnology, analytical instrumentation, communications, and more.

I can help you with Intellectual Property development where I have written and have been awarded 5 Patents in Photonics (optical storage), and have written 5 awarded NIH SBIR grants (a source of considerable start-up cash with very high odds of funding).

I can help you quickly cut through the fog of ideas to reach the essential value of your IP.

At the implementation level, I can help you reduce design clutter to the core so that the inherent IP can be scaled for maximum economy, efficiency, and value.

On the business side, I have been in many start-ups across the decades. I have also been a judge and counselor in many student business competitions (UW, DECA, WBW, NWABR).

I am looking for a creative team wrestling with issues at any level: ideation, organization, culture, technology, and business.
