We organize in-person networking events called Meetups. Totally free. These events happen every other month across the US. Thanks to more than 300 members, we’ve perfected a meeting format which brings together entrepreneurs who're looking to find a StartUp they can be a Co-Founder ofas well as entrepreneurs searching for a Co-Founder to join them. Advisor: Andrew Sherman who is a Partner at Jones Day and Professor of Entrepreneurship at Robert H. Smith School of Business. Go Terps!

So let me get this straight? You’re really running this on the honor code? Is that still even around?[+]

Yes, we believe there are lots of honest entrepreneurs out there who will recognize the true value of finding a Co-Founder. If you find your Co-Founder at one of our Meetups or online we hope you’ll share the good news. We only expect to be paid when setup a partnership. Our fee is $50 for a successful match. We’ll waive the $50 fee if you are a member of one of our Meetups or affiliated with one of our partners.

Why do I need a Co-Founder?[+]

A Co-Founder can help you carry some of the weight during the early stages of your StartUp, possibly invest, and most importantly balance out some of the skills you lack. VC sentiment is that Startups with 2 or more co-founders have greater chances of success, which is why VC are less likely to fund single founder Startups.

Cost: $50 for a successful match. We rely on our members to notify us when you enter into a partnership.

You can also avoid this fee by attending one of our Meetups.

Does this really work?

We are living proof. Yup, the Co-Founders of CoFoundersLab met at a "Co-Founders Wanted of Washington, DC" Meetup
